I have decided to use my website blog to announce that I am going to be joining the Ohio Light Opera company this June through August, 2017. I’m still unsure what I want to accomplish with my blog, but making employment announcements seems to be a step in the right direction. For the duration of my summer, I’ll be employed as a performer with OLO, Resident Professional Company of the College of Wooster.
For 11 weeks I’ll get to rehearse and perform in the following musicals, in no particular order: The Music Man, HMS Pinafore (Perhaps I will finally understand those West Wing inside jokes), Primrose, the Student Prince, Anything Goes, the Lady of the Slipper, and Countess Maritza.
The move to Wooster follows my final performance as a student, a lecture-recital on Peter Maxwell Davies’ Miss Donnithorne’s Maggot. I’m thinking about sharing a few notes on the blog about my lecture, as well, as it develops further.
Until my next intermittent life update!
