Welcome to the Chattanooga Clarinet Academy
The Chattanooga Clarinet Academy is a summer clarinet camp where clarinetists come to study, play, and perform together.
About the Chattanooga Clarinet Academy
The Chattanooga Clarinet Academy is a summer program where clarinetists come together to play chamber music, attend master classes, and receive private instruction.
In 2020, the camp moved entirely online. Five days of the week, students play chamber music, receive private lessons and attend master classes through Zoom, and watch video lessons.
The Chattanooga Clarinet Academy Goes Virtual
In 2020, CCA moved entirely online for health and safety reasons. Now, students participate from the comfort of their own homes. But playing at home doesn’t have to mean playing alone. Read about our online program below:
Online Chamber Music
In our online program, students play chamber music by performing the missing parts to specially-recorded chamber music. Each recording is missing one part that students get to play.
Video and Written Instruction
Master classes and lessons take place through Zoom. When not in class or performing chamber music, students receive video and written lessons throughout the week.
